After his trip Down Under Gosse traveled to China for the Qiansen Trophy, an UCI C1 race. His preparation on the race was a little disrupted, but still Gosse managed to put in a good race.
For 3 weeks Gosse stayed Down Under before travelling to China, where he competed in the Qiansen Trophy on Sunday. During the flight to China Gosse had some delay, but a bigger problem was that his bikes didn`t arrive with him. Eventually the turned up 6 hours before the race.
In Australia Gosse showed his good form with a win in Adelaide and two second places in the UCI-races in Melbourne. Today Gosse put in another good race to take the win: his first UCI victory!
“What a great feeling to win a UCI race! My preparation for this race wasn`t perfect, but in the end it was all fine. After the race I was a little emotional. I had to think about last year`s injury, setting up my new team and following my own path. It is very satisfying to get this win”, Gosse reacted from China.
