Again on the podium in Melbourne!

After his second place in the Cyclo-Cross National Series Round #8 – Fields of Joy CX, Essendon Fields – Victoria, Gosse started in round #9 today. Again he was on the podium after the race!

The cyclocross rider started once again in the Field of Joy CX in Essendon Field, Victoria. The parcours was the same as the day before, but then in opposite direction. This time Gosse didn`t have a perfect start. He unclipped his shoe just after the start and ended up in the big bunch of riders. “I entered the field in 25th position or so. At that time it was my goal to stay calm and move up as best as I could”, Gosse told about his start.

The Dutchman stayed calm and passed his opponents one by one and ended on the podium again after a good race. Just as a day earlier he finished 2nd behind Jens Dekker. “A good result, especially when you look at the bad start. I bagged some UCI points again, that`s very satisfying. My trip Down Under was very successful with 1 victory and 2 second places.”

Gosse will stay in Australia for another week and then flies to China, where he will ride the ‘Qiansen trophy Aohan Station’ on the 2nd of September.
